Tori Huftalin, DNP has a specialty in pediatrics from Arizona State University and a Bachelors of Science in nursing from Northern Illinois University. She has experience as both a primary care provider as well as an urgent care provider. This gives her with additional insights into both acute issues and the proactive care of chronic conditions.
Tori previously worked at a children’s hospital for six years, specializing in infant care as well as respiratory conditions. Her first job out of nursing school was in Haiti at a rural infant care center. That experience was what inspired her to become an independent provider, as It gave her incredible insight and passion regarding the empowerment of children and practical health education.
She has a special focus in asthma management, healthy lifestyles for children through activity and diet, depression and ADHD management, emotional and behavioral health, empowerment of children, newborn care, and education on practical prevention of sexual abuse for parents of all ages of children.
When not in the office, Tori goes hiking on almost all of her days off. She is constantly in pursuit of adventure and exploring. New Zealand is one of her favorite laces on earth because of the hiking, beaches, and people. She has a black lab/cattle dog mix name Oakley who is as gentle and sweet as can be.
